According to the report, ANM informed officers that as she attempted to exit the garage, "Jacobs grabbed her and threw her to the ground and she struck her head, suffering an injury." The report further states, "Jacobs then took her phone from her while she was on the ground. ANM laid on the ground for a while and then struggled to walk back into the house."
The district attorney's incident report explicitly states that these events are corroborated by video footage. The report details that the "surveillance footage from the camera system within the garage of the Tretni Mar residence from May 23, 2026, between 8:30 a.m. and 8:38 a.m. corroborates the relevant portions of ANM's statement that one would expect to have seen on video, including both ANM and Jacobs departing the residence in their respective vehicles and returning to the residence, as well as their actions on the security camera in the garage."
Additionally, the report specifies that "The surveillance video further shows Jacobs took ANM's phone while she was on the floor of the garage, and approximately 40 seconds later, Jacobs returns to the garage and appears to damage ANM's phone." While this video is not currently accessible for public or independent review, it is expected to serve as key evidence in the ongoing legal proceedings against Jacobs.

These reports detail the recovery of electronic devices from Jacobs’s residence around July 27 and 28, 2026. These devices included components of a video surveillance system, as well as cellular phones belonging to both Jacobs and ANM. Angel’s report outlines the complex process undertaken for the forensic examination of these devices, explaining that the recovery of video files from the surveillance system required several weeks, with final verification occurring on July 21, 2026. Based on these findings, the complainant "believes this complaint to be true and correct."
In response to Thursday's charges, the Packers released a statement: "We are aware of the charges brought against Josh Jacobs. We will continue to cooperate with the NFL as we work through the process. We will have no further comment at this time."
The NFL's own investigation into the entire situation remains active. Jacobs could face disciplinary action under the league’s Personal Conduct Policy and might be placed on the commissioner's exempt list, which would entail continued payment but prohibit him from playing.
