Tom Brady and Logan Paul Confrontation Ignites at Fanatics Fest in New York
A simmering rivalry between the legendary NFL quarterback and the prominent WWE personality escalated during a public appearance in New York City.

A long-standing rivalry between former NFL quarterback Tom Brady and internet personality and WWE star Logan Paul took an unexpected turn on Saturday when the two came face-to-face during Fanatics Fest in New York City.
The tense encounter unfolded on stage, with New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns stepping between the two. The seven-time Super Bowl champion reportedly attempted to strike the professional wrestler before security personnel intervened, preventing the situation from escalating further.
Social Media Reactions to the Incident
Following the event, both Paul and Brady took to social media platform X to share their perspectives on the altercation.
"This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ?? Horrible example for the kids," Paul posted. "Aura -100 + Blocked. With a torn tricep."
Brady also commented on the incident, referring to Paul as a "dork."
"I tried America… will try again next time I see this nerd," Brady wrote.
The Genesis of the Rivalry
The feud between the two public figures originated when the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback questioned Paul's athletic legitimacy. Brady had suggested that Paul was not a "real athlete" because his professional endeavors were in WWE rather than on the football field.
These initial remarks were made by Brady during Super Bowl week. Their animosity had previously been on display during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where they also had a notable interaction.
Brady's Interest in Professional Wrestling
Interestingly, Brady has also expressed a personal interest in stepping into the professional wrestling ring himself. During an interview on WWE star Cody Rhodes’ podcast, "What Do You Wanna Talk About?", Brady indicated his desire to participate in a match.
"I need to get an invite. I've been waiting for (WWE president) Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix," Brady stated. "I feel like I'm retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I'm a little bit of an athlete."
He further added, reflecting on the world of WWE:
"I may be there. But it’s amazing what’s going on there and it’s amazing what’s happening with WWE and all the different things surrounding that."
