The Morris County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that the new mother found dead on June 6 sustained "multiple sharp force injuries," a finding corroborated by the medical examiner. The agency also stated it has maintained communication with "several" family members throughout the ongoing investigation into her death.
The husband of the deceased therapist has reportedly hired legal counsel. However, the identity of his lawyer was not immediately disclosed. It is important to note that the husband has not been accused of any crime or wrongdoing in connection with the case.
Investigation Timeline and Official Response
Records indicate that emergency services received a 911 call at 4:29 p.m. on the day the woman was found. Just 13 minutes later, at approximately 4:42 p.m., a dispatcher logged the incident as a "suspicious death." Within an hour of the initial call, detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were alerted to the situation.
The official log also details several days of intensive investigative activity at the residence following the initial report. Detectives, investigators, and the medical examiner were documented as present at the home from June 6 until June 12, when the investigative log was officially closed. When questioned regarding the husband's level of cooperation during the probe, authorities declined to provide a comment.
The investigation into the therapist's death remains active and ongoing.
